Welcome to Hear to Heal™. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Hear to Heal™ mobile application, website, digital content, features, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not access or use the Services.


1. About Hear to Heal™

Hear to Heal™ is an emotional wellness and self-reflection platform designed to provide supportive resources for reflection, personal growth, grief support, emotional wellness, journaling, grounding, and related wellness experiences.

Features may include:

  • Guided Healing Paths
  • Guided journaling
  • Voice and audio journaling
  • Reflection prompts
  • Emotional wellness activities
  • Grief and healing resources
  • Grounding and calming exercises
  • Comfort and guided audios
  • Mood and emotion tracking
  • Personal-growth resources
  • Community and reflection features
  • Educational wellness content

Features may change, be added, or be discontinued as the Services develop.


2. Wellness and Medical Disclaimer

Hear to Heal™ is not a medical or mental-health provider.

The Services provide general educational, emotional-wellness, self-reflection, and supportive resources. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental-health condition and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, or other qualified care.

Information provided through Hear to Heal should not be interpreted as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, please consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Emergency Situations

Hear to Heal is not an emergency or crisis-response service.

If you are experiencing an emergency, believe you may be in immediate danger, or need urgent medical or mental-health assistance, contact your local emergency services or seek immediate assistance from a qualified professional.

In the United States, you may call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.


3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must meet the applicable age requirements for the Hear to Heal Services and the applicable requirements of the platform through which you access the app.

If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you should use the Services only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian when required by applicable law.

Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether Hear to Heal is appropriate for a minor in their care and for supervising the minor’s use of the Services when appropriate.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable privacy laws. Please review our Privacy Policy for additional information.


4. Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, accessing, registering for, or using Hear to Heal™, you agree to these Terms and any applicable policies referenced in them.

These Terms apply to all users of the Services.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Services.


5. User Accounts

Certain features may require you to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Protect your login credentials.

  • Use the Services for unlawful purposes.
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit protected content without permission.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or improperly extract proprietary elements of the Services, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

We reserve the right to take appropriate action when these Terms or applicable laws are violated.


7. Community and User-Generated Content

Certain Hear to Heal features may allow users to submit journal entries, reflections, comments, audio, messages, or other content (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of User Content that you create, subject to the rights necessary for us to operate the Services.

By submitting User Content through features that are designed to be shared, you grant Hear to Heal the limited rights necessary to host, process, display, transmit, and provide that content as part of the applicable Service.

You are responsible for the content you choose to submit or share.

Do not post or submit another person’s private information without appropriate authorization.

We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or our safety requirements.


8. Journaling and Personal Reflections

Hear to Heal may provide private journaling, reflection, and voice-journaling tools.

These features are intended to support personal reflection and wellness.

You are responsible for deciding what information you enter into your journal or other personal spaces.

Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how information associated with the Services may be collected, processed, stored, and protected.


9. Subscriptions and Billing

Certain Hear to Heal features may require a paid subscription.

Subscription pricing, billing periods, promotional offers, and available features will be presented before purchase.

Automatic Renewal

Where automatic renewal applies, your subscription may renew automatically unless canceled in accordance with the applicable subscription terms.

Apple Purchases

If you purchase a subscription through Apple’s App Store, subscription management, cancellation, and applicable billing processes are handled through your Apple Account and Apple’s applicable terms and policies.

Google Play Purchases

If you purchase through Google Play, subscription management, cancellation, and applicable billing processes are handled through your Google Play account and Google’s applicable terms and policies.

Cancellation

Deleting the Hear to Heal app does not necessarily cancel a subscription.

You must cancel your subscription through the applicable app-store account or other purchasing platform used to obtain the subscription.

Refunds

Refund requests may be subject to the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made. Purchases made through Apple or Google Play may need to be addressed through the applicable platform.


10. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

Hear to Heal may occasionally offer free trials, discounts, promotional pricing, or other special offers.

Additional terms may apply to individual promotions.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers may be subject to eligibility requirements and may be modified or discontinued.

If a free trial converts into a paid subscription, the applicable pricing and renewal terms will be disclosed before or during enrollment.


11. Intellectual Property

The Hear to Heal™ name, trademarks, logos, graphics, app design, text, audio, illustrations, videos, software, features, and other materials provided through the Services are owned by or licensed to Hear to Heal and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Unless expressly permitted by us or applicable law, you may not:

  • Copy or reproduce protected materials.
  • Republish or redistribute our content.
  • Modify our proprietary content.
  • Sell or commercially exploit our materials.
  • Remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
  • Use Hear to Heal branding in a way that suggests unauthorized sponsorship or affiliation.

Your use of the Services does not transfer ownership of Hear to Heal intellectual property to you.


12. Copyright and Trademark Rights

Hear to Heal™ and associated branding are used to identify the Hear to Heal Services.

Third-party trademarks, names, and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

If you believe material available through the Services infringes your copyright, please contact us with sufficient information for us to review the concern.

The Services may interact with or contain links to third-party platforms, services, websites, app stores, payment providers, or other resources.

Hear to Heal is not responsible for the content, policies, security, availability, or practices of independent third-party services.

15. Security

We take reasonable measures designed to protect the Services and information handled through them.

However, no website, application, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You acknowledge that you use the Services at your own risk and should take reasonable steps to protect your account and device.


16. Availability and Changes to the Services

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the Services from time to time.

Changes may include:

  • Adding or removing features.
  • Updating content.
  • Modifying the user interface.
  • Changing technical requirements.
  • Improving security.
  • Updating pricing or subscription offerings, subject to applicable requirements.

We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available.


17. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, Hear to Heal disclaims warranties that the Services will:

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Hear to Heal and its owners, operators, affiliates, service providers, licensors, and representatives from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your misuse of the Services.
  • Your User Content.
  • Your violation of another person’s rights.
  • Your violation of applicable laws or regulations.

20. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to some or all of the Services when reasonably necessary, including when:

  • You violate these Terms.
  • Your conduct creates a security or safety concern.
  • We are required to do so by law.
  • The Services are discontinued.
  • Action is necessary to protect users or the platform.

These Terms of Service are intended to describe the general guidelines, expectations, and policies applicable to your use of the Hear to Heal™ app and related services.

Hear to Heal™ is operated in Florida, and these Terms are generally intended to be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, to the extent applicable and permitted by law.

Any provisions concerning jurisdiction, venue, or dispute resolution will be governed by applicable law.

23. Severability
